Ramy, partner of the sport per excellence in Algeria, sponsors "the 2nd Challenge SAHARI International". This second edition organized by the FASM (Algerian Federation of Mechanical Sports) in partnership with the Algerian-Italian agency "ARAK Sport" will allow all lovers of motorsports to discover a true tourist circuit with fairyland landscapes of the Algerian desert.

This year's race, which is more technical, has seen a somewhat modified itinerary: cars, trucks, motorbikes and quads started on 301 October from the Ryadh El Feth esplanade with an intermediate stage that led the competitors towards Biskra. The competition itself began on 1st November with the Biskra-Hassi Messaoud stage.

The second stage will take place on 3 November in the form of a loop at Hassi Messaoud, before the rally will head towards the East as of the day following this 2016 edition since it will lead the caravan from El-Ménéa to Timimoun.

The 5th and final stage will link El-Ménéa to Ghardaïa, before joining Algiers, the next day, in liaison stage. And as it was established during the first edition, this rally-raid takes place under three formulas (raid-chrono-regularity), over a distance of 1,500 km, a good part of which will be through tracks and sand dunes.

With its participation as a Sponsor of this international event, Ramy affirms its will to promote the practice of sport in its various disciplines in Algeria.
